Ballistic tables?
« on: December 28, 2001, 06:56:03 AM »
Hi, does anyone knows about ballistic tests on Kadets... I'd like to know info on muzzle velocities about some ammo and its accuracy.
I know mine is pretty accurate(and I am not a great shooter... not even good) but I would like to know how much!
thx

Ballistic tables?

I don't know of any for the kadet but I have done a survey with a 5.5 Ruger mark II and 10/22 to give relative velocities and standard deviations for 60 loads. I sell it for about $8 on ebay.  It saves people the time and expense of buying everything to test for themselves.  It's impossible to compare accuracy from gun to gun because each lot of ammo and each gun is a bit different.  Even so, my ammo map is useful guide for .22 shooters who want to see relative differences between types and brands of ammo.  Remington has the worst consistency of any ammo I tested based on the relatively high standard deviations I get with Remington ammunition.  Aguila ammo has been very good from what I have tested.  mapdude
