Just waiting for the day I can post a review of the new CZ.  :)  
           
            OK, for those who are planning to get a RAMI when it's available, which caliber?  9mm or .40?
           
            I have to go with the .40, myself.

Mike, I am going with a 9mm myself, I will get one as soon as one of my FFL's can get one:b
           
            I think this gun would be a handful in 40sw like the G27 I had nice gun but beat me to death after 50rds!

My RAMI will be like my other seven CZs....9MM. I can't wait to get one. It should be great!

I would have to agree with the 9mm version.  I guess it depends on how the 40 shoots/recoil/accuracy.  It will be nice to be able to have a CZ that can be used to back up my 97B and has a better assortment of defensive calibers.
           
            The 380 is fine but 9mm and 40 are much better, come to think of it why not a 45???

9mm, I think. Just saw a picture for the first time yesterday. Looks to be Kahr PM9/Glock 26 size. Correct? What's the grip thickness?

            Do you handload?  For everyday shooting, it is possible to (down)load a .40 auto so that it feels more like the 9mm, but you still have the option of fullhouse .40 auto loads for when you care enough to send the very best (with apologies to Hallmark).
           
            Note that I am NOT saying the 9mm is a weaker cartridge: I own and shoot quite a few and I like them.  I do like the options that .40 auto presents for reloading.

            No I really don't yet, I am in the process of collecting all the stuff to reload, and your suggestion about downloading the 40 is a good one that I will consider!
           
            BTW I am looking for a good Mentor who can help me with reloading in the DFW Area!

I'd get mine in 9mm.  I'm definately getting something small in Feb. when Uncle Sam pays back the loan I gave him.  I want something easily concealed for year-round carry.  I was seriously considering the XD-9 subcompact, but after running the numbers through the metric conversion tables, the RAMI is very close in size.  It looks a hell of alot nicer and I'll bet it shoots alot nicer.  So much for combat tupperware!:rollin

            Great looking and small will give the PCR a rest during the

I have enormous hands so I won't be looking at the RAMI.
           
            Now, if they can get a .40 sub-compact, why can't they get a .40 PCR/P-01?
           
            I would have thought that would be a logical step.
