I'd like to take a minute to comment on Hakan Peks manners as a craftsman and as a business man. From the first moment you contact him until the job is completed, he is there for you 100%. Ask him anything you want. He has all the answers for you and makes the process so simple that you will wonder why you didn't contact him sooner to get those grips you've been dreaming of. Several months ago, I was admiring some
"Mother of Pearl Grips" that were handcrafted in Turkey. Hakan was offering some for sale on his site. Well, I hesitated and when I contacted Mr Pek, with hopes that he still had some, he informed me that they were all sold out and that he would contact me if any more became available. Well, I figured I'd forget about them because I would probably never hear from him again....
WRONG...when Hakan got out of the Hospital, he told me there was a package waiting for him at home and guess what was in the package?....
Right..."The Mother of Pearl Grips" This Hakan guy somehow works
MAJIC! Hakan also made me some Cocobolo grips. When I contacted him, I requested some Cocobolo that didn't have such a regular straight grain....he fired me back a pic of some sample wood that filled the bill perfectly. I'm telling you, Hakan goes the extra mile and then some. Oh, rest assured your grips will arrive in pristine condition. They arrive sandwiched in a bubbled envelope and mounted on corrugated cardboard, all the way from Norway! And one more thing, forget about the photos that his wonderful camera takes of your finished grips, as they simply do not do them justice (even though the photos are very beautiful). When you open the package, you will be astounded at the Craftsmanship and attention to detail in a one of a kind
Masterpiece! Hakan, you are the
BEST ! Look for a pic of the Cocobolo grips on the 75 Compact to come. The
"Mother of Pearl Grips" are on my CZ 75 Silver Anniversay, and I just can't get a good picture of a nickle plated gun. I believe Hakan has a pic of the grips on the Silver Anniversary. Very beautiful combination in my opinion. Thanks again Hakan! David
