I wonder how many are out?  And, do they sell very well?

I got one in a trade with SN 144 and the slide is stamped 96 (I think...) and thought wow.. an early gun that is 10 years old.

Then I went in a local shop here in Houston, they have one NIB that is SN 116.  Of course they are asking sticker price for it so that may be why it is still NIB.

:\   I'd sure like to have one in 9mm.   Can anyone point me to a dealer that has one?  Can our host tell us when some more new examples will arrive?

Thanks.

Thanks, Walt, but the only one I see in the classifieds is a .40.  It is a good price!

They should consider making new "Champions" from the TS frame and slide instead. It would be much stronger than the present one, and will stand up to Major nine loads better.

The  CZ UB team are already doing that they ave a custom gunsmith making them open guns on the TS the latest I saw even had a hybrid barrel. Check out the gun MArtin Kaminichek is using. I am not sure if there are any pictures around but that is a way cool way to go. Stnadar magazine taking 20 rounds I am sure a lot more when created as a 170mm mahgazine.
