Angus.
Put that pair of 75B's away and prepare to kick butt with the
new stuff.

I just hope the BOD grows a nut in Ecuador and keeps the
SP01 on the list.

Good Luck to us all.
 Dave.

Alright Angus:
Maybe the 85 combat is swapped for SP-01. Everything else stays the same, all the work.  but also know incl. firing pin safety enhancement,  since its an SP-01, trigger, grips, sights, mainspring, etc.

Answe this question, is the gun illegal until the vote of the gen assembly ???

Sounds to me like the gun is legal untill voted off the list by general assembly.
So either is goes or stays after WS. Time to campaign your RD's
We will probably have presence at the Assembly. CZ that is.

So what does this mean for it's fate in the US?  Will there be a day when I'll walk into the local Academy and be able to pick up an SP-01?

My understanding is that any rule changes voted in or out by the IPSC BOD don't take effect until the next January.... so the SP-01 would still be legal until next Jan even if removed from the current list?

Or am I missing something?

Also, I think the U.S. may go their own way on this ruling (I hope, like they did with the G34/35) if IPSC does remove it again...  we'll see. :|

Angus; have you sent out SP-01s to Matt, Petros & Todd in perperation for the World Shoot? WHat holster for Production -the Ghost I take it?

I would not bet against you guys for 1st place team even if you do have to register as "Jamaican Bobsled & IPSC Team".

We are registering as the undefeated cz production team.

Matt ahs an SP01 Todd and Pete's will be on there way to them this week.
I will use a ghost holster for the world shoot I am not sure of the rest of the guys decision yet. The ghost just gives me that little bit faster draw. About .10 sec over 26 stages is worth having LOL.

Well I guess my Ghost is going to the World Shoot, even if I can't make it this time.

Its a pitty that you guys can't register as Team USA II but I still think its my patriotic duty to send US based shooters to the Worlds with the best possible equipment.

Since Race holsters are allowed outside of the USA & my Ghost fits the SP-01 too, then off it goes w/ Todd. Besides, I have a limited slot for the nationals & am not concentrating on Production right now anyway.

Todd is going to seriously clean up on both points & time in Equador! Should be a good show.

Today I had here on visit one of my friend from IPSC matches. I showed me his modifided CZ. He has champion frame and slide from CZ 75 Standard (today Tactical model) and in my image is new idea SP01 frame with Tactical slide but with locking to window (I do not know if it is right, if you can correct me please) as a Sig, Glock or CZ97 as.

So what do you think about that gun? CZ with longer slide, better accurace but still in size which is possible to carry concealed (secure I do know right compound of words).
