Finally in the win column.... With a Glock ;)

Iceman,

Walt makes some very good points.  Individual shooters shoot better with certain guns.  I shoot the CZ as well as any of my Glocks in general plinking.  When it comes to combat/defensive type situations (I teach this), when the stress is way up, I shoot the Glock much faster and more accurately.  It's simply a matter of training with both (or several guns) and choosing the one you perform best with.

My wife shoots the Glock 19 & 26.  Shoots both quite well, I might add.  Outstanding gun!  My personal choice is the G23... :)

yeah, w/ the very first time i used the glock, i hit the round steel targets quite well. i noticed the sight dots are quite big compared to the CZs where it's quite small. any difference or performance that affects your accuracy and speed between big and small dot sights? plus, your arms dont get too tired that much since the gun is soooo light! i was surprised the recoil was so smooth and the trigger pull was soft too. i thought it was gonna be a bit hard since i heard it was double action (walt clarified that it's not so that explains it).

i liked the glock very much. i think it would be a great defensive/combat handgun while the CZ would be better at the range due to its accuracy.

Congrats Glockguy,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while but my job has had me busy out of town for the last few weeks. I just got back from the Remington Armors course and it looks I'll be in Georgia for another two months. I need to start shooting in matches again especially if I win I get the glock of my choice.
