Aftermarket CZ 52 sights?
« on: November 16, 2007, 04:23:50 PM »
Are there any? I have a somewhat tweaked CZ 52 and all that's left to do is to get some nice sights on the thing. If better sights exist, can anyone here point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I would look for commercially available sights and see if they say they will fit the 52. Measure the rear dovetail and look for a sight with that measurment.  Your best bet  is to go to a good gun smith, tell them what type of sights you want, and have them tell you which ones would work.  At worst they may have to mill the rear site dovetail a little to fit the rear sight.  The front sight I don't think is removable, so you might need to go to a smith anyway to have the front either dovetailed or drilled for the front sight.

I believe makarov.com used to let you send them your slide and they would put some nice night sights on it but it may have been someone else (I'm talking like 6-7 years ago). You might call them and ask if they ever did or still could.

In an earlier thread someone posted that Baby Eagle rear sights are nearly a direct fit.  Don't hold me to it I haven tried it myself yet.

Are there any good baby eable night sights? Cheap ones, anyway? I might try a little "sight paint" on mine to suffice for the moment. Hell, a $1 thing of white-out would probably do it.

I'll paint my sights in the 3 vertical line pattern (l l l) because that eliminates human error. You can always misdraw your dots.

I got the Nightsighters in today, and put them on my CZ52 & Sub2000.  These things are going to be awesome as long as they dont come off!
PS - In case someone might think I'm spamming.  No I don't sell them, nor do I know the guy that does.
