97BD Decocker Version for 2008.
« on: February 05, 2008, 10:41:26 PM »
As some of you might well know by now. The 2008 catalog has some new products for 2008.
The 97BD has what looks like black rubber grips and the decock lever ala the 75BD and PCR/P-01.
Standard are the Tru-Dot real deal tritium night sights.

Would it be a safe assumption that the rubber grips on the 97BD also fit the 97B?

That's what some other think, too. They do look thinner in Dr. Lunde's pic.

I'm normally not a decocker fan, but know that they have a place in the
CZ lineup.  Not having cocked N locked capability also means a more court
defensible home defense gun in the eyes of many shooters.

In all reality, I carry and shoot from DA and the C&L is just and unused option for me.

I'm probably going to get the BD in March or April. Full CZ-ZONE review to follow:)

I'll definately be adding this to my CZ collection. I'm curious, has anyone tried to mount a P-01/SP-01 trigger to the 97b? I think the addition of that trigger would of really rounded out the 97bd.

Dang! Maybe they've made it small enough for my little girly-hands!

I am not a de-cocker fan either, but I think that the fact that CZ has expanded their 97 product line is absolutely fantastic news! Maybe the stainless steel 97B or the 10mm 97B that seem to be on a lot of wish lists might eventually be made also?

The 97BD decocker with rubber grip is really valid. -- With this development becomes a real Tactical. Now you can put your shot in cane and break down. All simplest 97B. Now it is much safer kill the dog. The weapon carries in the first armed and ready for use. (When necessary) I like!

I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to say. I guess you are excited about this development.

I too could care less about the decocker models, but I'd like to see an ambi-safety model and/or stainless steel 97B.

That'd be awesome.

They confirm, 97B-8D is a fine gun. I hope that it is sold together with 97B. To give more choice to fans of weapons CZ

Or even a longer slide release.

I could care less about the decocker -  but if they make a stainless or a 10mm I am so freaking there!

Hopefully it will feed hollow points.
