Volunteered to help with the match here this week (
http://www.smm3gun.com), and although I didn't get lucky at the Range Officer Prize drawing (there was a couple of gorgeous AR's and schweet little CZ75B that were calling to me...), but I still ended up with a fair amount of schwag, a great tan, and a urgent desire to get myself an AR-15 (and soon!).
Got to meet Angus and Kelly from the CZ-USA team and other top-level shooters like Taran Butler, Michael Voight and Jerry and Kay Miculek and watch them strut their stuff.
If you've got the opportunity and the time, I highly recommend volunteering for a major match. It's a great way to meet a bunch of wonderful people.
