CZ75 B vs CZ SP01 or CZ P01
« on: January 24, 2009, 08:04:20 PM »

I looked at several CZ 75 models today at a GS.  There seemed to be a difference in the front to back dimension of the grip of the 75B (a little shorter length front to back) vs the SP01 or P01 (a little bit thicker feel).  The serrations on the front strap and back strap of the SP01 and P01 probably added to the feel of increased thickness.  Is there an actual difference in measurement?

I want a 9mm with decocker and no serrations on the front and back straps.  Is that the 75BD?  Is there a compact version with smooth front and back straps?

Thank you for your help.

That is the BD model.  You may want to look at the Police model, also.  The PCR is the closest model to a compact BD.

The main difference between the P-01/SP-01 and previous models is the beavertail and trigger curve.  I haven't measured them, but the newer models have a little shorter trigger reach overall.
