Hello All,
Been a few years since I've posted. I have owned a 75b .40 for a few years (personal and home defense). Previous to that have had a variety of pistols including Glocks, Colts, etc.
I don't shoot a lot (maybe once or twice a year to make sure everything is functioning well); went to the range last night and put a few hundred rounds through the gun. Shot magnificently as usual. Ate up a bunch of Lawman FMJ as well as a bunch of FMJ range rounds (perhaps lawman as well, but seemed hot, lots of muzzle flash) and 40 or so rounds of Federal 180gr hollow points (which is what I carry in the gun). Not a single malfunction.
So, cutting to the proverbial chase, the guy that works at the range had just received an H&K .45 USP Expert (not sure what the difference is between the expert and reg) and he was putting it through its paces and at the end (likely to show off) he hung a strip of target paper sideways and proceeded to try and shoot it in half at about 7 or so yards out. He was successful after about a clip or so. He then asked me if I would like to try , probably assuming I would be unsuccessful and he and his new toy would look that much better.
I shot it in half on the seventh round.
Thanks CZ.
