Rami 40 cal availability

I do not own a Rami, but not for lack of trying. I cannot find a 40 cal anywhere, even the CZ custom shop. I tried all the online sellers with no luck. Everyone tells me they are allocated. Any ideas from anyone? I have found the 9mm, but would like to have a 40 cal if possible. Are the feeding problems worked out of the 40 yet? Thanks for the help.

I am on the same page.   I have searched online and in local shops.  None here in NY that I can find.  I found a couple of 9MM,  but I want a .40.

I was lucky and walked in a bought one a few months ago in Florida. Check G.A.T. Guns in Elgin Illinois,they always had had them in stock. Seem to be a bigger C.Z. dealer.

My .40 has been flawless, I have put through about 500 rounds with no issues. The second mag I had one feed issue but other than that it is perfect and has been sense.

Just a quick +1!  You'll love the RAMI in .40.  I've had mine for nearly 5 years and it's my constant companion. Be sure to check out Bob Hazel's holsters for the RAMI. I bought one in cross draw, it's outstanding!

I have been checking Gunbroker.  I just checked again, all I see is Rami P models and 9MM.  I have not seen one Rami in 40 steel.

I did check a lot of the online sellers and the ones I checked had them listed but none in stock. I did get one transferred to a store in my state but I have to drive a couple of hours to get it this weekend. I will let everyone know how it turns out.  I did get some ammo for it but most of the store shelves are bare in that area as well.

I did get a Rami 40 in alloy. Had to drive 3 hours after work but go it for $480. I think they are going to be quite a bit more when they are available. I don't know when I will get to shoot it; maybe I will review it at that time.

As far as I know, RAMI's are only available in alloy or polymer...not steel

I don't know whether it is steel or alloy, but it is not poly. So far, I am happy with the purchase. I have only shot about 50 rounds through it to warm it up, and it worked fine. The trigger snaps back rather forcefully upon firing, but not to the extent that some of the people have stated in these forums. I have seen the Hazel holsters and will probably order one soon. Ammo is rather difficult to find, but there is some out there in a few places.
