Mag release button going all the way in? The only thing here is that mag release, so the button isn't pushing the locking lug out of the way, wonder if there is something in the spring channel, or the spring broke...call 1-800-955-4486, ask for Gunsmithing.
Please, let us know what you find out!

yes, it is going all the way in. it used to drop a couple cm on one certain mag but has since stopped... will call that # on monday. more range time tomorrow, hopefully get more than 60 rounds downrange before the dang 'skeeters get me like last time... late spring in Georgia=man-sized bloodsucking insects, apparently.  :o

The skeeters are also bad where I live. Bugs in general are quite numerous. We have had alot of rain and now are paying the price.

Archer, check your magwell, see if some material is in the magwell from construction, all four sides.

Just after my last post I thought to take one round out of the mag. and try it again. With 15 in the mag. vs. 16, the mag. drops free 100% exactly like it should. Still, it may be something CZ should look into and make right.

I haven't checked, but do these things have a magazine release like the Browning Hi-Power?  If so, most hi-power owners have that removed and then problem solved.

Sorry so late, busy with work. still haven't called the number. to put more light on the subject, i tried it with 16, 15, 10 and Zero in the mags, still have to physically reach up and pull (tug) the magazine out of the well. i figured "well it just needs broken in" so i did a few HUNDRED mag changes, and nothing. i'm to the point where i am seriously considering breaking out some 250grit emery cloth, but that would constitute "Modification" and void any expressed/implied warranty. so- will call the number and report back with results, if any.

It should be noted that despite the issues stated above, this new brother to my P01 shoots excellently and i have experienced ZERO malfunctions so far, logged 75 rounds so far :-\ MAN work sucks! stoopid airplanes....>:(

Moderator just posted a sticky on this topic.  Seems there may be defective mags.  Contact CZ and they will replace them for you.  Check out his posting on the P-07 club page.  Dusty
