CZ85 Combat Mag Catch/Release
« on: May 23, 2009, 08:47:07 PM »
I'd like to change the mag catch/release of my CZ75b to that of the longer & checkered one installed in the CZ85 Combat?  Where can I find it, other than in the CZUB shop?  Prices & shipping at UB are much higher but I've checked CZ-USA and Angus' site but none of them carry it.

CZ-USA sell the part. Call them. The 800 number is on the website.

I wasn't born in America, but I got here as fast as I could.

Thanks Widge.  But I did contact them thru email, as well as Angus' site, and both don't have them.  I asked Jim Miossi too and I'm waiting for his reply.

Isn't the 85 mag release a dual ( both right and left side) release?  If it is I didn't think the 75B could use it.  The 75B doesn't have the dual round holes for it.

No - the 85's use the same round-hole single-sided mag catches as the standard 75's. Hence why the OP (and me too, actually) would like to get the extended 85 Combat catch, since it would fit the standard round-hole 75's. (The other extended catches require the keyhole-type frame.)
