I am having the mag and bulge issues also... My s/n is A58xxx The bulge was there when I purchased the weapon. They fire 5 rounds throught the weapon to test the sight alignment. I have also run about two hundred rounds through this weapon. Function and and performance of this weapon is otherwise great...

Sent one of mine in this past weekend.  Will send the other when the first gets back.  Other than that I absolutely love this pistol!

Ok Phone was not a good way to go but they did respond to my email and had me return the pistol and mags to them. Got a warranty card in the mail from them after about a few days stating they had it and not to bug them for 2-4 weeks then after that time then could call to ask about the situation. Seems fair to me so now I wait, no biggie. Glad to see them care about their product and Customer service.

I just recently purchased a new P-07 and both mags hang up, mag #1 drops about 1/4 inch and mag #2 drops about 3 1/4 inches out. I really don't want to send my brand new firearm in for service. CZ should pull this model off the shelves and fix the problem. I wish I would have read this forum before pruchasing the P-07. Very disapointing.

Dumb question, but I found it was a thing with mine - do you punch the button and release, or hold it in?

I hold it in. But I tried a couple of different release methods. Nothing changes the way they drop out. I even took it back the the retailer and they check every one in stock and the all hang up. We even swaped mags from different weapons and no change they all hung up.

You got this handled through CZ-USA? 1-800-955-4486, press 2 for parts, ask for Adam or Justin.

I just recently bought a P07, serial A565xxx. I previously said that I had no magazine issues but now that I have tested my mags more thoroughly I have found that one magazine works flawlessly every time with no hang ups what so ever, while the other mag only ejects about 1/4" EVERY time. I haven't been to the range yet much less filled the mags to see about the 12+ issue, at this point I am praying I didn't buy one of the lemons, even though I wouldn't mind a bug free brand new one :)
Also did any of your P07's have metal sights? mine are plastic and the rear one seems to be a little off center.

This is last post for P-07 Magazine issues. (I hope).
Here is the story - believe it or not.
First, Czech police was supplied with CZ75D Compact.
For the export they rename this pistol P-01.
After some use, LEO reported to CZ what they need in the next model of duty pistol.
More rounds, lighter, trigger with less parts and MAGAZINES THAT WILL NOT DROP FREE.
That is how P-07 DUTY was born.  The name on the slide will explain to everybody, that this pistol is used for D-U-T-Y.  Not for competition.  For competition IDPA, IPSC etc. drop free magazines are needed. (P-01, SP-01 etc).
If the police officer has to use his pistol in line of duty,  he can't risk losing the mag when he chase the criminals.
In case nervous, hand shaking law abiding citizen with CCW permit will meet the robber  in his living room he will push every button on the gun, include mag release before he find the safety or trigger.  And there goes magazine down to the floor and under the sofa.  Those who wants to defend their family should not use gun with drop free magazine.
OK -  we have 5 group of shooters.
1. Competition shooters.
2. Target shooters.
3. Beer can shooters.
4. Home defenders.
5. LEO.
If you are in group number one, you need gun with drop free mags. The other four groups should have STICKY MAGS and not to complain "there is something wrong with this gun", this is exactly what you need.
BTW In Europe people wants only guns with sticky magazines. They will not drop it to the mud, sand, water, concrete etc.

I have a P 07 and none of my 10 CZ Factory mags will drop free and I don't care because I only use them to load ammo into the gun for target practice. I carry my P 07 for CCW and figure that if I can not survive a gunfight using 16 rounds I really won't care if the mags didn't fall on the ground to load the next ones!!!

Is this the Official Story from CZ
Are they now not taking P-07's with the mag release problem and frame bulge (which mine has both) in for repair.
