Hello.  Well, here's a Pre-B that Kurt Wickman installed Novak sights on.  It's been refinished and the hammer bobbed as well.  The bbl's been hardchromed.

Best.

Hey.....Ya'lls pictures are wiggin out.    ~_^

Yes they are very graceful and elegant.......But still......I'd give anything to have one that was made in 1975, you know, the one with the short guide rails. Those were the best made CZ 75's ever, I heard that they were made with a harder grade of steel.

Hey though!......At least we know who are really in the CZ classic club huh?  LOL:rollin

To the best of my knowledge, the first CZ 75s were made in 1976.  The number refers to the year when the design was completed, not the first production year.  There are also no 1985 model year CZ 85s or 1997 model year 97Bs, as far as I know.  With the other pistols that follow this nomenclature, the year of introduction and first year of production seem to be identical.  Of course, I have been known to make mistakes...  ;)

If someone could tell me how to post a picture, I will try to get my CZ 75 "transitional" posted.

No I really seen a picture of one that was made in 1975........Said it right there on the gun. Behind the extractor.

I think they started production in late '75.........Maybe it was a proto?

Seeing as how very few would have been made I figure there are very few left.

I'll try to find out the exact date.

Artemis,

Is your Type A one of the Frankonia semi-customs?  It looks like the descriptions that I have read of some of those pistols.
