My Rami is now a Rattler.

Hi Gang,

  My 10 rnd Mag showed up this Morning. I cleaned it up and relubed it. I now have a RATTLER.
Yep, it rattles with a full 10 rnds in the mag. I did a search and found a few tips, but nothing worked for me. I guess I could just load 9 rounds in it and be happy. Or I could load it up, and when danger is near just shake my hip a little and let em know the Rami is about to strike. LOL.
  Seriously, is there any real fix to this, different mag manufacter, ect.

 Good day woodyga .......... and what brand is the mag you're having trouble with ?   I've had good performance with  the Mec-Gar magazines ......
 Was this the mag that came with the gun ?  I know you're not the first to have had this problem.

My 10 round magazine always respond to a solid whack on the palm of my hand.  That stops the rattle.  However, my 14 round magazines don't.  Someone suggested that the spring was slipping down inside itself but I don't know.  Perhaps a spring change will fix it?  It's never bothered me enough to do anything about it.  I've had other magazines from different mfg. act the same way.

  It is a factory 10 rnd mag, my 14 factory rnds dont rattle either. I got the mag from buds gun shop

Where is a good place to get Mec-Gar magazines? Are they not the original manufacture for CZ magazines.

I have the same rattle out of my factory 10rd mags Woodyga.
Put 9 rounds in no problem but the 10th rattles.
I'll have to try out the Mec-gar magazines as well.

 I went to Mec-Gar's web site and I dont see a listing for the Rami. Am I missing something? Are is this like the recoil spring's where you have to order it for a different gun and it works?

  Well after you spend 640 bucks for a new gun you kinda want it to be right, free of defects. I might would expect that from a lower priced firearm, but my "tupperware" guns (keltecs) don't/didn't have any problems.
The rattle is not a show stopper by any means. The Rami performs flawlessly now.

All three of my 10 rounders rattle when fully loaded, once the first round is chambered the rattle is gone. I don't carry 10+1 so it doesn't effect or bother me.   Mike

Better to download by one round with a CZ mag, anyhow.
9 rounds plus another 13 will get you through the night.

 I picked up Mec-Gar mags for my 75B at my local gun shop.   There have the rubber base, and work great.   If you have no luck at the Mec-Gar website,  try Midway USA ...... as they have replacement CZ magazines for almost all models,  and their product delivery service if fast.

 Good point guys, I guess I can get by with 9+1 and  28 spares (14X2).

I was hoping to do 9+1 and 26 spares (I got that GINORMOUS CZ-75 mag) but I just tested it at the range with disappointing results. About halfway through the mag the rounds in the mag all tilted doward, resulting in failure to feed. I will clean/dry-lube the mag and try again. Though 26 rounds is a lot to go through to test a magazine!

Bummer, my Rami works with the 19 round mags. I know you already have the 18lb Wolff springs installed and CZ says they are supposed to work together. Give them a call.
