Kadet on SP01 - FTE?
« on: July 31, 2009, 12:45:41 AM »
I tried my Kadet kit on my newly acquired SP01 today and had a bunch of FTE's. The Kadet kit performed flawlessly with the same ammo on my P01. I have the comp hammer installed with 15# main spring. Anyone else have these issues, and if so, what fix have you found aside from user higher velocity rounds .... I've got a TON of these .22 LR's that fed/fired/ejected fine on the P01.

As an aside, the stock SP01 slide stop typically locks back the Kadet slide - I was not expecting this but it was a nice little surprise :)

Paul, failures to extract or eject?   Make sure the chamber is clean then check the extractor, and finally, make sure the ejector is not bent.

If those checks don't help I'll buy it from you for $50.....just the Kadet kit, you can keep the SP-01. ;D

Eject. I get spent casings stuck and jams the next round. This didn't happen with the P01 so I'm not sure what the issue is other than possibly the slide doesn't move back strong enough to eject the case. The ejector seems fine.

And $50? Man, you definitely are out looking for deals, aren't ya? ;)
