It is fast approaching "that time"...

Time to get our 9 year old his first rifle. Here he is at the NRA show, at the CZ booth...



They grow up so fast.

It's a GREAT time as are all of the "firsts". Never stops either. Having a great time taking my 15 year old granddaughter out pistol shooting. Started with 22, then 32 and next trip she wants to try 9mm an 45.

Fortunately "that time" never stops. I still have my first model 2 BRNO a 1957 model. She still shoots as well as ever and is just as competitive as my wifes 452 American 2008.
As long as young Ricky keeps it clean and looks after it he'll be happy for a long time.

I was 11 when my dad gave me my first rifle. I still own it and shoot as often as I can. That CZ will be something your boy will cherish the rest of his life. That and the time he gets to spend at the range, or in the field with you. Enjoy, they grow up way too fast.

I have been eyeing one for my 9y/o son and a pink one for my 6y/o daughter. She is getting jealous because I take my son with me to gun matches and not her yet.
