Recoil Spring for CZ 83 - .32 cal ?

Hi All - I did a search,  others have asked my question and have not been enlightened so I'll ask again and I 've also put the question on Angus's thread.

Wolf, CZ and others seem to sell ONE recoil spring, its for the .380 CZ83, no one seems to list or indicate the existence of one for the CZ 83 in .32 cal.  It seems to me the .32 would use a different spring than the .380. Maybe the spring fits either the .380 or the .32??

Does anyone know?  Thanks Dick

Wolf does not have a .32 CZ 83 in inventory; therefore, cannot determine what spring it would take.  They have a .380 which takes their 14.5 lb spring.

If someone out there has a 14.5 lb spring for their .380 and also has a .32 CZ 83 they could try the 14.5 spring in it and if the gun operates OK, I guess it will be OK for members with the question to order a .380 spring for their .32's

According to Justin at CZ the .380 spring is used for the .32!!! Aftermarket springs for CZ's are increasing and maybe someone will produce a softer spring for the .32. - That's the word!

Don't worry.  If your 32 is like mine, it launches the empties into the next county.  It NEEDS a heavier spring.
