+P Rated ammo in a CZ Compact?

Hi everybody, I bought my first CZ 75 Compact 9mm a couple weekends ago. Love It.  Since its Christmas the old man was sharing some of his stash and asked if it was +P rated. Since it was similar to a Hi-Power we weren't sure. Because they aren't, right? Anyway Ive got a box of Federal 124gr Hydrashok +P+ on deck and didn't know if they would hurt me baby. Thanks

Ther HI-Power is +P rated and they will run through your Compact as well.  If you run some of those so called +P rated roiunds over a Chrono you might be surprised how little they differ from regular 9MM rounds.  There is a lot of marketing in +P ammo.
