Just my guess but I think you will just screw up the follower & not get the results you want. They do make a 14/15 rd mag but it looks like hell in the gun IMO!

My 12 round Mecgar mags actually take 13 rounds but I'm guessing the spring is being over compressed with the extra round.  If you have a range mag to try it, why not all you would need is to replace the follower if you ruin it.  Mecgar makes some 15 round Browning HiPower mags that are the same as the 13 round mags but just have a flat follower.  Try it and see.  David

The confusing nature of the two Mecgar 12 rounders out there still eludes me. The black follower version with thinner baseplate appears to fit more flush when converted. Is this an older model than the blue follower version?

On numerous sites (including the Hundersdirect link), the upc matches the mag with the blue follower, but the image shows the black follower mag. Has anyone purchased these yet from that site (or another) and can confirm that they are the magazines pictured?

The blue follower mags are slightly longer, they are the new afc mecgar mags.

The black follower mag with the metal base is the older mag sometimes listed at the 75B Champion mag.  The blue follower mag has the plastic base and he body is definately longer than the older mag.  I assume most of the pictures you are seeing are just older photos on the websites.  David

Just an update that is way long overdue. I fired my p-06 and had no failure to feed or failure to fire with these mags. I have about 750rds in combination throughout these mags.  I just wish cz made a flush fitting & reliable 10rd magazine.

I know its more money.
but try this spring and follower kit.
run these in 9mm Sp01 mags, have run them in 9mm 14rnd mag to get 16.
run them in the TS 140mm mags to get extra .40rounds.

CZ-USA is currently showing 180 SP-01 base pads in stock.

They also have this base made from aluminum and with an anodized finish. These are a bit pricey at $40!

I am tooling up to produce an aluminum base pad similar to the red one. It will be finished in Satin Black powder coat that is very near the factory finish. It would be easy to add a bit more length, inside depth actually, so the longer MecGar could fit flush. I recently made a prototype of this pad to close the gap when using a 16 round  9mm magazine on a Compact. Then I found that by cutting another pair of slots near the top and making a new latch plate, I can add 2 rounds to the 14 round mags. The same pad will allow 18 rounds in the 16 round mags and fit flush on full size CZ75's.

I haven't determined the cost yet but I am thinking under $25 just to close the gap and under $30 to add 2 rounds. Due to my shop set up it will probably April before I can get to the production stage.

have you tried the ten round flush fitting (dare i say) promag?  I have five and four have been flawless.  the fifth is still new. have not had an issue with the ones purchased about two years ago.
