I've got a sweet high polish stainless for CCW. I had Mike Eagleshield perform an action job; absolutely incredible trigger! The pistol is smoother than my COLT Python.
In any event, awhile back I contracted with Mike Stannard dba Tornado Technologies to thread an OEM 6" bbl for suppressed use. I wanted to keep the original 4.7" bbl pristine, so I had CZ-USA fit the spare extended barrel to my CZ-75B Limited Edition 1st. Mike did his usual SUPERB craftsmanship. Turnaround was about 3 months, BUT well worth it ...for PERFECTION! I have an extremely tight fitting & trued "jamnut" with flats that I'm using as a shoulder to seat the SWR Trident 9 suppressor. ROCK SOLID... NO spin-offs here. I opted to have the work done this way as opposed to extending the original barrel & creating a fine-threaded extension. NO LOC-TITE here, either. NO worries about ruining the fine threads of an extension when removing for disassembly & cleaning. I would highly recommend this method as well as checking Mike Stannard out to perform his magic!
