I just got my firing pin block lifter bushing made and the extended safety fitted on my 97 tonight, I previously put a comp hammer and 13lb main spring in. I absolutely love the trigger now, and manipulating the safety is a lot more pleasant now too. I am still running the DA/SA trigger, I haven't converted it to SA and don't know if I will.
I fitted the majority on the sear then did the finishing touches on the safety. I scribed a line on it then went to a frog hair before the line with the file, tried it and discovered the safety would engage on a cocked hammer, but if you took it back off you couldn't reengage it. I cleaned up a touch more on the safety and it fits like a charm now. The sear cage doesn't rock at all if the safety is on and you pull like hell on the trigger, nor does anything move if you try to engage the safety on a dropped hammer.
*Yes, that bushing is stainless*
And now to photos.
