I just did some measuring and the widest part of my P-02 is the ambi safeties which put me .064 over the 1 3/8" maximum width.
I guess I will have to explore how it actually fits in a box or removing the right side safety. I don't know how tight/loose the box tolerances will be. (I see now -0 to plus 1/16") I should be OK.

In the CZ-UB 2015 catalog, on page 59, is listed a CZ P-01 Omega with decocker or safety.
The P-01 in the catalog is sporting the decocker.
Could mean decockers for P-02s here in the States.

I am buying two sets of the decocker levers when I can order them. I might pick up an Omega P-01 too, to go along with my P-02. They will be like brothers.
snakeye, no worries, I don't need someone in a leotard. :)

This little fella should be hitting my FFL by the end of the week. I am trading with a guy in GA who doesn't carry or use it, so he is getting my VP9 and I am getting his unicorn. I have been looking for one of these since I started looking at CZs. Now my P-07 and P-09 with have a metallic sibling.

And, it's here!! Love it. It feels nicer, without a doubt, than my P-07. The trigger is smoother with less creep. I still want to change out the hammer though.

My LOK Grips came in today. They make an already sexy gun, even sexier.

The quality is just as good, IMHO. I had VZ grips on my clone and they were awesome, but these were $15 cheaper. They are limited in colour though. I will probably buy a set of VZs in Dark Cherry as well.

Wondering what a machinist or gunsmith would charge to use my plastic decocker to turn out a metal one?

I would be happy to have any decocker for my P-02 ;D

A big machine shop like we had when I worked at the Airline has machines that can scan a part and reproduce it automatically. It takes longer to program the machine than to make the part. I don't have contacts there anymore and I imagine your project would be expensive.

Seriously, is there any place to get a Decocker without going to the Czech Republic?

One cannot even get a decocker for the P-01 omega in the CR. I have tried. That was back a few months ago, so maybe they are releasing them now, but I have been trying to source the new Omega decocker for a long time now. The ambi safety is the only reason I don't carry my P-02 more often.

Per CZ Rep
"Thor,

The P-02 was a prototype pistol, which was the P-01 with the new Omega trigger system.  Unfortunately it is not in production at all. With regards to converting the P-01 to a safety instead of a decocker, this cannot be done.  However we do have the 75B Compact, which is a steel frame compact with a safety on it, instead of a decocker.

"
So P-02's are pretty much completely unicorns now, however we CAN expect (if the 2015 catalogue's are correct) the P-01 Omega to be essentially the same thing save having the decocker (again) instead of the safety. (much to my dismay)

So... Stupid question... Anyone selling one?  ;D
