CZ-82 and new CZ's triggers

I have a new in box CZ-82 which I love, I think the trigger is one of the best I have pulled that is a stock item, this is like a match grade trigger . .   My question is; Are the NEW CZ's triggers as good , I want to purchase a 40 cal full size.  Which one has the same like pull .

Comparing an 82 with other models is difficult. CZ 82's are surplus and have had numerous unknown amount of rounds through them and are considered pretty smooth action.

On the other hand, general concensus of any new CZ pistol is that they feel "gritty" out of the box, and at about 500 rounds you start to feel the difference in a smoother trigger. I will vouch for that. My 82 has a smooth comfortable trigger, and my PCR after about 300 rds is smoothing out.

A NIB 82, unfired, you might not want to load it and shoot it, stick it in the back of the safe.

It is no longer unfired . and It is a 82 . and no , I don't have pictures. However I have put approx 600 rounds through it and the trigger is sweet. What I was asking is , how does the new , lets say , the CZ 75 SP 01 trigger pull compare to the near perfect pull of the 82. I am interested in purchasing a 40 cal. from CZ.

geod, I too am in love with the trigger in my CZ 82. Especially the SA pull. It really does feel as if it has had a professional trigger job done on it. In my, admittedly limited experience, most new "civilian" guns do not have the best triggers right away. Some smooth out after a few hundred rounds, some need some work. Bottom line, the folks at BRNO got something right with the 82. Enjoy it. At around $200.00 there really isn't a better deal in a pistol.

On top of all that, the CZ 82/83 does not use the Koucky trigger mechanism found on 75/85 series pistols.  The 82/83 is a little smoother by design.  I do agree with NVCZ's points however.  You can either fire about a case of ammo, or get a competent trigger job done.  I always just shoot them...

I have a P-01 and 82 and I think the trigger pulls are comparable. Both pistols have only 300 or so rounds down range. Not target triggers but manageable triggers.   Not sure about the SP-01.

THANKS for the come back , I intend to shoot  at a iron site league at my club and would like to have a higher cal. CZ to shoot from time to time. I don't want to beat up the 82 .
