Is a CZ 75 D Compact the same as a CZ P-01?
« on: May 19, 2010, 08:42:02 PM »
Today I just received my very first CZ pistol in the mail: A brand new CZ P-01...  or so I thought...

I ordered a P-01.  The box says its a P-01.  It looks like a P-01.  It even has what a appears to be the correct NATO Stock Number engraved on the frame...

So why does the SLIDE engraving say: CZ 75 D COMPACT?????

Am I right to be alarmed?  Did I get what I ordered or is someone trying to pull a fast one on me here?

Oh man, now you did it. Widge is gonna get upset.  ;D  There's a thread about this in the P-01 club.  But, to answer your question, same gun as P-01.  You are fortunate to own the European version of the P-01.  I have the same one.  Check out th P-01 club for more info on this topic.  Dusty

Your wish, is my command!  ;D

Triggerhound, no reflection on you, but a simple search would have answered this one for you. It's been asked time and again.
