P-07 wont fire(hammer is back no trigger tension)
« on: May 23, 2010, 07:43:12 PM »
I just got my Duty a couple weeks ago and my papers just showed up yesterday so I was taking it to the range today. While showing my girlfriend some gun handling I racked the slide and when I went to dry fire nothing happened. It feels like the trigger isnt attached to anything. It doest rattle or anything but no tension. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

The safety is off. The trigger moves just about as much as when safety is on.
I have tried with a mag in and out.

Hope someone can help. Thanks.

No replies? No one have any experience like this? Guess I am the extra special one.  :-\

I have sent emails to the store it came from and a warranty center trying to get some help that way.

Hope it doesnt have to go back both the store and warranty service are across the country from me.

Hi.  That sucks.  You need to contact CZ USA and have them pick it up.  Request UPS or whomever they use to pick it up to save you postage.  It's legal to do coz you are shipping to authorized warranty /repair station.  Pistol will ship right back to your house from them when fixed.  Brand new gun with Warranty card, there should be no questions.   If you can't find contact for CZ USA   I should have it posted before you log back on.

CZ USA   1-800-955-4486    Ask for Warranty/Repair    explain problem / ask for pick up

Thanks. Guess I should have mentioned I was in Canada. Took it the a local shop and they didnt know what was wrong. So I got the info on the canadian waranty center and it should be on the way today. That is if I can get the paper work to be allowed to mail it. Stupid rules here.

Well I just got my Duty back today. I have to thank the great people at CRAFM(the canadian warranty center) for getting me back my pistol only 1 week after they got it. The problem was apparently with the disconnector, once replaced everything was good. Cant wait to get it out and shoot it now.

For some reason it doesnt seem Canada got the decocker. Every P-07 I have heard of only came with the safety option.
