In the last 6yrs I've switched from carrying a Browning HP, which was my #1 carry gun for the last 30yr. I now carry a CZ75BD. I have the option with my employer of carrying any sidearm I can qualify with or the SIG 226 BW, which the company provides. I carried the SIG on 3 assigments and went back to my 75BD.  It's the ergonomics plain and simple. The 75BD is slightly more accurate than the SIG and about half the price. OBTW, the SIG 20rd mags are $80.00+ each!!!

Far too many people spend a sizeable sum on a holster only to hang it off a Wal-Mart dress belt.  THe belt is as critical as the holster and a good one really aids in comfort and concealment.
I cannot agree more with Road Dawg on the belt issue.  If you want to fill a couple of boxes with your frequent holster purchases, hang them off a cheap and flimsy belt, you'll never find one that works.  Invest in
something from The Beltman and even the low end holsters feel 1000% better.

So long as I am wearing pants or shorts that have belt loops, my 75B .40 in nickle is with me.  The weight is reassuring to me, as equally is the capability this pistol provides.

Again, quit fiddling around with holsters until you acquire a good wide and stiff belt, something especially made for the purpose.  You won't be sorry.

+2 on the belt. I wear a 5.11 Rigger's Belt and it works well.  A good holster on a cheap belt does neither honor.

Here's my belt.....................

I bought this sharkskin rig from Wilson Combat around fifteen years ago, shown here with the Colt 1911 that my CZ75 recently replaced as my primary CCW.  The belt is narrow enough to serve as a casual and dress belt both yet is made of a double thickness so it's good and strong, and doesn't scream "cop".  The sharkin has worn like iron and still looks new.  Overall it was some of the best money I've ever spent on work related gear.  Unfortunately sharkskin has increased dramaticlly in priced since I bought this rig, enough so that I can't justify buying a similar holster and mag pouch for the CZ.

It's sexy too, and I'm all about the sexy.  8)

I use a MTAC Minotaur on a Wilderness Instructor CSM belt and WOW did the belt make a difference!  A stiff belt is vital to the stability of the rig especially for us "husky" fellers.   ;D

+1 on the fat guys needing a good belt...I use a hybrid holster on an instructor belt too...it works well

I carry my 75b, but only when its cool enough to wear a t shirt under an outer covering garment.  I'm a big guy and have never found an IWB thats comfortable for me so, I use a Mitch Rosen pancake for my 75b and a Galco pancake for my full size Kimber.  The reason I carry the Kimber in the summer is that its a stainless gun and can ride against my bare skin under a t shirt without biting me.  For some reason my CZ bites into me bad.  I need to get new holsters with sweat shields, but until then it 1911 in summer, CZ 75b in Fall and Spring, and a Glock 21 for winter.  Of course there's almost always my Colt Mustang tucked away somewhere.  The right belt makes a huge difference, I go here for leather http://www.thebeltman.net/ and here for web belts http://shop.ebay.com/offpistekw/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340

I carry mine in a Mernickle paddle. I'm definitely going to switch over to a IWB when I scrape the cash together. I'm pretty happy with it as far as conceal carry, but it prints a fair bit and nice holsters, barring custom, are few and far between.

You'll be happier carrying it while wearing bulkier clothes. During the summer, I carry a more compact 1911 owb.

I guess what I'm saying is... it's doable. It isn't best as a carry gun. You might like a compact.

With all due respect, I couldn't imagine CCW a 75b, then again I live in Florida. I suppose if I lived in MN in the winter, then yeah. Unless I move there, it'll be the Glock 27 and the Kahr P9 back up.

I'm 5 foot 4 160 pounds using a R Grizzle Leather OWB holster and a cheap "Wal-Mart" belt (quality pistol belt is on the way) and in a T-shirt and shorts the only thing noticeable when carrying my CZ-75B is a slight bulge from the hammer/rear sight area. I read somewhere that due to everyone carrying cell phones, it is easy to pass this slight bulge off as a cell phone. Even with the weight I know it is there but that?s it, in fact the only time I really noticed it was in my truck, I wear it at 3 - 3:30 position and sitting in the truck it pushed me toward the left of center but gave me great lumbar support on that side. It would probably be uncomfortable on a long trip.

I just got my new belt from R Grizzle Leather and it holds the gun much closer to my body then the cheap belt I was using and the holder stays put.

I agree with the need for a sturdy belt

Yeah, I was thinking that the potential printing would scream to the world, "GUN!"
But perhaps I need to be more open minded?

My Comp-Tac Minotaur doesn't print at all.  When it's hot I wear a t-shirt with a bold-print shirt as a cover garment.

Mabe this means I'll have to trade my two existing carry guns for two more CZs!

My MTAC has been a GREAT holster.  Comp-Tac is a great company to deal with.
