CZ52's on the net
« on: August 01, 2010, 12:58:26 AM »
Has the supply of 52's dried up. Are there any net gun dealers with these left. I have looked around but I can't really think of any names right now other than Sarco, keepshooting.com, J&G, and SOG.

I haven't seen any offered by retailers/wholesalers since Century Arms had them in their catalog a few months back.  The good news is they seem to be showing up on the auction sites on a regular basis in the $200.00 to $250.00 range.

Actually I just found one at a pawn shop tonight for $225. I might go in this weekend and pick it up.

I've been looking on and off too. I've fallen into the pattern where I put a little cash aside until I have enough to get one and have no luck finding one. Then I buy something else instead and I run across a couple of good deals while I'm broke. I'll get my timing right eventually.

I saw two in great shape today at a gunshow in NH, $225/each.  The problem is that it is so hard to get ammo for it in MA.  The state doesn't allow ammunition to be sent directly, and no one regularly stocks the ammo.  So I passed (I'm still kicking myself).

Ironic, isn't it, that where the American Revolution began is now one of the most egregious offenders of what the Founders were revolting against?

Are you allowed to buy ammo out of state & bring it back with you? Seems like you could get some in NH and come back with it quite easily if that were the case...

Actually I waited too long. When I went back in to swipe up the 52 it was gone.

I saw Cz-52s on a web sight called Black Bear Arms for $340-quote supposedly unissued. From the pics the pistol looked in very nice condition-came with an extra mag ,holster and firing pin. They also had East German Makarovs for $359 t0 $379.00 also looked very nice
to be in excellent condition.

I have bought from Black Bear, and while the prices are a bit high, his stuff is top notch. The CZ52 was unissued and perfect, the holster was brand new as well. The EG Maks were also bleep pretty as well (I bought 2).

I would have to say the supply is drying up somewhat.  I can find them all day long on auction sites but I prefer to buy it straight out than battle it out with someone else trying to get the gun.

Given I was sold on the CZ.82 I am now wanting to add a CZ.52 to my list as well.  Problem is ive spent the past few hours looking online for vendors that sell it and the only one I found listed was some company I never heard of the price was right at $200 and on top of that the webpage was last updated back in 2008.  So I honestly dont think its still in stock nor at that price.

You might have to contact a dealer and have them track one down for you.  I would do that myself but since I am in the process of getting a C&R license I prefer to find one myself and just buy it out right.

Yep, you can find deal on the different forums.  I just picked up one that is almost unissued with the original finish/pigskin holster and mags for $225.  Keep your eye out and you will find one you like for a price you like.
