Some time after I acquired my CZ75 Classic (1985, Bitburg AFB R&G Club, West Germany) i found a holster specifically made for it.
It is a BIANCHI #4 "ASKINS AVENGER". in light brown (or maybe a dark tan), leather, and with a soft leather retention strap slotted to fit over the tang. It is worn outside, on a belt, and the belt "loop" and slot are positioned on the holster body so the gun is carried with a forward cant.
It's a great holster, but if you want one you'll have to spend a lot of time online or at gunshows as that model has been out of production for many YEARS.
I also have a vz82/CZ83 and Yesterday I located a really good leather-worker in a Mennonite/Amish community a short distance from where I live. I'm going to see if he can make a form fit holster just like my Bianchi. My 75 was heavily customized by Robar and I will be sending them my 83 in a week or so to have the same custom work done on it - then they'll look like big and little brother, and with nearly identical leather - even more so.
