Results of my little project - SP01
« on: November 10, 2010, 10:03:28 PM »
New CZ-75 SP01 with competition hammer and grips installed at home, fluff-n-buff done on some internal parts and visible part of the barrel.

Trigger is awesome now. Gun is pure pleasure overall. 500 rounds down range, 0 malfunctions, I am first time CZ owner.

Thanks to contributors of this forum. Without you guys it wouldn't be possible.

Hi,

Looks beautiful!!

I polished the barrel on my SP01 today and it turned out great.

What do you think of the wood grips?  How do they feel compared to the factory rubber grips?

Thanks,

Alan

I love the wood grips. I like rubber ones too. They make you feel like the gun is glued to your hands. Very secure purchase and no wiggle in your hands from shot to shot.

But wood is beautiful.

My SP01 will wear rubber to the range and wood on weekends. :)

Hi,

I agree, the wood does look awesome.  Does it feel any thinner or about the same as the rubber for thickness?

Thanks,

Alan

It is thinner a tiny bit. Not a significant difference. I have large hands. I don't care for thinner grips anyways.

I love it. Did it come from the factory with those night sites? I want a SP01 myself, but I'm unsure if I want the safety or the decocker (tactical). I know I want night sites though.

Hi,

It really does have such a pretty shine to it too, did you polish it with something?

Thanks,

Alan
