Very Nice!  Are the 52s from production years 52, 53 and 54?

Wow...I didn't realize a 52 was that much bigger than an 82.

2 of them are dated 53 and were reworked in 1990 the other is  54 dated and reworked in the 80's. i told a friend of mine i would sell him a 53 when i found the 52 which he has.when we got them we did not know 52 was hard to find so i let him have it when we bought them. i plan on ordering another cz82 next monday when sog has them on their one day sale for $159. at that price if i got one with a bad finish i could try my hand at duracoat. all of them are good shooters but the cz52's seem to shoot low for me.

Very nice looking 52s.

Except for the grips.  Even the nice grips look like they were used as improvised brake pads.

Kirk that was funny. I have those same grips on 2 of mine and some really nice wood grips on th ethird. The wood grips make th eorginals look like 3rd world cousins,
You said it.  I kept one of my 52's "stock" but my carry 52 got a set of nice Bocote grips from Bud Willson at Dixie Grips.

The difference is night and day.  Feel better in my hand too.

Sometimes Pawn Shops, Armslist.com, Elitedealerseeker.com can yield fruit. There are alot of forums with classified sections.  I think large and small newspapers still have firearms for sale in their want ads pages. I saw a very respectable CZ 52 for a buck seventy at my local PShop last week.

Their site says they are a strictly wholesaler...firearm sales to FFL holders only but to even view their firearm section you need to log in and also have a ffl or c&r..so I'm thinking they sell c&r guns to c&r holders.  Maybe Shadow Warrior can chime in ;D
