That it the cool part of the gun is that CZ Custom is doing this..
because of the point system, this gun would never ever make it to your shores.

Angus has said somewhere they are looking at doing a .380, but these couple of prototypes are in .25, built here in the US to show at SHOT. I know I am asking for a .380, just hoping that it may be doable.

Oh I'm not hating on it or anything..... I think it's cool as all get out and understand where it came from.

I'd love to have one.  And I'd love to have one in 380, and maybe even .22LR with a micro can on it.

Interesting, finally bringing the CZ 92 in, made at DW plant, I wonder. A CZ 92 in .32 would sell, a.380 would sell better.

From the Facebook postings from Angus and Eric. I think CZ Custom is producing the gun.
So you could probably drop by the shop and take a look.

An answer to a question not asked.  25acp? ???  Another caliber designed for Powder Burn application. Unless it's <$200.00 I'm not going there.  That would be a replacement for my Mil-Tac folder.

I knew we were all going to get into the caliber battle.
This is a  cool gun, reconstructed years later in the USA.
This is Phase I, we all have to start somewhere, no one actually realizes how much time and money we have into this project?
We have approx 350 hours in the frame slide and barrel, not to mention the other small parts?

So its a  small caliber, what happened to owning some history or something cool.
I know I have lots of "cool" guns, some that have never been shot :-)
Angus Duhhhh!

No battle from me boss...I was just surprised.

Personally, if someone put 6 or 7 .25 cal bullets into me I'd probably lie down. ;)
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

It's a fantastic start, and really a cool idea. Any hints on other calibers later?

I think its a great project and thats going to be a fantastic pocket pistol or one for my wife as well ,shes getting her carry permit and thats the type of pistol that would easliy fit in her purse and I know that it will function when needed. I have the carry protek 9mm the CZ 75 Sa Target and the SPo7 from the custom shop all great pistols. Thanks for bringing this one back.

I don't think one ALWAYS has to carry a .45 - summer shorts and t-shirt weather frequently finds me with a .380 ACP "mouse gun" - but I'd buy this in a heartbeat if it was chambered in 9x18 mak or .380 ACP.  If I am going to buy something chambered for a lighter round than that, it is going to be something old for my CC&R collection - not something new to carry.  I know that plenty of folks in the past have defended themselves with very small caliber pistols, but I don't plan to be one of them.

Depending on the price I will probably pick one up just to have.  I don't think I would work it into the CC rotation.  I'm not a huge fan of the .25 acp.  Like every firearm caliber I would prefer not to be shot with it though.

I wonder how robust the design is.  If you could pack a .380 or even better a 9mm mak in that frame.  I could then see it become a rather popular pistol.  I would advise to have the price within reach of the other pocket guns though.  The Micro Eagle (or Kelvin) was $200 more and didn't sell very well.

If offered in .380 acp, I'd have one strapped to my ankle right now, reading and writing about it on a new cz forum pistol forum page. Lets get it on CZ and give me some dignity and help me get shed of this kel-tec.

The CZ 92 is an old, CZ from the early nineties. It is based on the even older, CZ 45. Back then, the .25 acp was considered a perfectly acceptable hide out gun\gut shooter. I personally think it is really cool that CZ Custom is manufacturing these in the US now, we never had a chance of having them imported due to ATF rules. I hate to burst everyone's bubble on the forum and in the thread, but even if CZ made a subcompact .380 in the vain of the LCP, we couldn't import it here due to ATF restrictions.
This is the reason Walther moved production of the PP, PPS, PPKS here to the states. Since S&W makes it here, it can be sold here. My P3AT, the LCP I traded for my first CZ82, and all other light weight pocket guns are prohibited as imports. Why? The lies of the antis who labeled these guns "Saturday Night specials."

I'm looking forward to seeing these guns in gun shops. I hope the price is right when it I see one.

I have a CZ45 and have always thought it looked sturdy enough to handle at least a 32ACP. Not sure if 380ACP could be made to fit in the same size of pistol, but may be with the more modern metallurgy. I'd sure be interested in one(well depending on price) in .22lr, .32acp or even .380 if it could be built with the same outside dimensions. I wouldn't have any interest in a .25 though, already have one. (ETA) If I sounded a little cynical I'm not, I appreciate the effort that Angus and crew is putting into this project!!!. Thanks.
