alank2: I actually think that's a huge aesthetic improvement.

I much prefer it over the stock rough look, and it will be easy to redo if it ever wears much.  I would have liked the bluing to turn out a little darker, but I noticed that it looks much like the mag release button so I think this color may be how CZ type metal blues.
