Borrowed to test before I buy a 97b. Taking to the range tomorrow. I need to know how to field strip it but I didn't get the manual for it. Does anyone know of a link or explain it to me please? Tried searching but no luck.
Thanks in advance. Also, any tips for the 1st timer. I will be using blazer brass and winchester jhp 230gr from walmart.

Align the notch marks on the left side of the slide, right under the safety. Push out the slide stop pin from the right side of the weapon towards the left. Pull the pin out from the left side. Pull the slide off by sliding it forward in the frame. Unscrew the barrel bushing. Remove the guide rod and spring. Remove the recoil spring stop. 15 second job, at most.

Thanks for the reply. Also found a picture version on the cz-usa website. Very easy to do.

Not a problem. I am a newbie to CZs myself, but already have 2, the 97B, and the PCR, which is my carry. Just as accurate as the 97, and just as easy to take care of, but fits in a pocket!
