Back to the Will_Power's original concerns regarding the advisability of buying the CZ97B in light of the criticisms that he has read/heard regarding various problems, esp. its reliability to feed HP ammo and its suitability as an SD pistol in the woods or in an apartment.  Some random observations from the standpoint of someone owning both a 75B and a 97B:
1. the 97B is a large gun; make sure it fits your hand
2. I always thought that non-human threats in the woods called more often for FMJ ammo anyway -- deep penetration is the object with wild critters, is it not?
3. CorbonPowerball expands, is +P, and feeds like FMJ
4. my CZ97B feeds reliably many kinds of HP ammo
I do not wish to offend, but sometimes thinking too much about potential problems can lead to a kind of paralysis.  If you want steel, want a .45ACP autopistol, and find that the CZ97B fits your hand, then go for it.  If not, get a Springfield XD in .45ACP: accurate, feeds HPs, and so forth.
