CZ pistol in .22 will there ever be one???

Has CZ even hinted about making a all new .22 pistol? Aside from their Kadet conversion, its a crying shame that CZ has not made one.
 I sure would love to see CZ make a pistol in .22 and design it closely after the CZ-83 or perhaps even the 75/85 of course scaled down a little, or perhaps even modeled after the CZ-70 wth that PPK styling.........Perhaps we all here should put in a request to CZ....or at least ask them as to why they have not explored this possibility yet.......

If you where not aware, they do sell complete Kadet pistols also which are basically a 75B lower and a conversion kit.

This is true.  Don't see the need of a 22 beyond the Kadet pistol or Kadet conversion.

My kadet is way more accurate and has a better trigger than my Ruger MK or any other .22 I have shot

I actually sold my 70's S&W 41 because the Kadet was almost that good and it sold for over $700. If still doing competitive shooting the 41 was a bit better but when not every one has to be in the 10 ring the Kadet is very close.

CZ-UB does have a nifty little 22 pistol the CZ 122, but it is unimportable to the United States due t the Nazi inspired Gun Control Act of 1968. Perhaps it can be built here someday, or we might get some inspired leaders to overturn GCA of '68, but I seriously doubt the latter.
I would love to have one. The Kadet Kit I can tell you from personal experiance is a LOT of fun - grab one.

Edit to add I can't find the 122 Sport pistol on the CZ-UB webpage anymore. It may be out of production. Too bad, it was one racy looking pistol, and would have been neat to make in the Dan Wesson plant.
