Handloads recommendations for CZ 97
« on: January 03, 2006, 05:41:49 PM »

I plan to start reloading ammo for my CZ97 soon.
I'm looking for recommendations on good loads that others here in this forum have used for this pistol.

I'm particularly looking for loads for 230 FMJ and
230 moly bullets. Any other suggested loads (except for really hot loads) would also be appreciated.

The handload recipe that seems to produce the best results in my 97B (in terms of accuracy and cleanliness) is a Rainier 230 gr. RN-TCJ projectile atop 5.4 gr. of Universal Clays powder, with a cartridge OAL of 1.275" and a very light taper crimp.

(You might want to post this question in the reloading forum for greater exposure.)
