After 31 days of waiting, My CZ 97 finally cleared CoBIS!
Was able to fire two mags before darkness fell today. I was so excited to fire it, that I forgot to put my ear plugs in! But the loud ringing in my ears could not dampen my excitement. She shot sweetly right out of the box.
Later, I got the CZ 76 Hogue grips on using a heating gun. The pistol now feels like a natural extenstion to my hand.
I'm hoping the weather will warm up this weekend so I can shoot my CZ some more.
It's was kismet the moment I first saw a CZ 97 online last summer--- I knew I had to have it. I have a limited budget, and figured this probately would be the only pistol I would ever able to afford---and my wife would suffer me to own
I know I've asked a lot of annoying questions in this forum, but everybody has been really helpful, and it got me prepped for this day---I felt like I already knew this gun inside and out.
Anyway, my Christmas is made. Best to the rest of you CZer's this holiday season!
