Range day
« on: April 17, 2011, 06:01:59 PM »
I've successfully fired over 1000 rounds (1200 to be exact) from my CZ Phantom with no mishaps of any kind, maybe a couple of ammo miscounts leading to some OIGIHARIT (Oh I Guess I Have Another Round In There) incidents. Anyways, on to pictures:

My 'proof' targets, usually taken at the end of the session.

and my warmup targets

I shot for the past 3 weeks, but I didn't snap targets from the last 2 sessions since it was at a different range and I was shooting with my dad. Anyways my 'proof' targets from 3 weeks ago:

I'm a pretty terrible shot compared to the rest of you fellas in here; then again, this is my first gun. I guess I have to go practice some more ;D

You are a good shot compared to me. ;D

Doesn't really matter because that paper is dead.

It's fun either way though...isn't it.
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

If I was running from you I would prefer to see the holes in the brown or the checkered area, LOL.  Not bad for the first time.  Keep firing and work on all those things, breathing, stance, grip, trigger pull, focus on front sight etc.  Of course the hard part is to do them all at once.  :)

I've read a lot of your posts lately that include your Phantom. Does this mean your considering leaving your P-01 on the church steps? If so, I think my P-01 would love to have a twin brother! O0

Keep up the good work no51. How did you Dad do?

My P-01 is riding on my hip as we speak.  ;D No, I won't ditch it entirely, but depending on what holster arrangements I can make, I will look into carry the Phantom more often - longer barrel and more ammo on tap, for basics, and it just shoots so dadgum straight for me. :) BUt no, sorry, the P-01 doesn't go anywhere.  :P :D

I don't think he wants to admit it, but I think he shot better with my gun than his german designed firearm manufactured in exeter, nh  ;).

I took out my new 75 b stainless for a test drive. The range I shoot at is rather dimly kit. I shot at I guess 35 feet, where the light seemed best. I was shooting at "dirty bird" exploding color targets I got at wallmart.

Problem was the bull on the target was green. For whatever reason the dots on the 75's sights are a greenish cast. A bad mix. I have since put a red day glow type sight on. I am hoping to fire on the bull this time. Enclosed is the CZ & target before ,then the 75's new  front sight./Users/dj/Desktop/L1030432.JPG/Users/dj/Desktop/L1030472.JPG

Oh, oh.  javascript:void(0);   Are these picts going to fly or not ?/Users/dj/Desktop/L1030472.JPG If no picts come up I will try again.
