Day Two
« on: July 02, 2011, 01:28:24 PM »
Went again today and found what I think I was doing so wrong yesterday.  Well, several things but one step at a time right now for me!  I was tilting my head down causing a lot of low, low shots.  Getting used to being off-eye dominant is trying but I'm sure with repetition, it will become second nature.
Anyway, another 100 today with no feed, fire, or ejection issues.  The image below was the first two full mags at 7 yards, indoor, two handed, approx. 1-2 second intervals.  One outlier in the second magazine but for me, a Newb of the First Order, I was quite pleased with the results.

I didn't see any designation on the target for type but it is roughly 1/2 scale actual.

Had another target which saw approximately 30 targeted at center mass and I ripped out the bottom of the red/black area, again at 7 yards.
This weapon is a wonderful piece of equipment!

Thanks Armoredman!  This CZ is a great firearm to learn with, accurate, easy to aim, and in 9mm, the recoil is manageable.  Very happy with my selection.

Nice shooting. Next time I'm gonna take a few of theses targets to see how I am doing. I would also like to purposely do what the sections are saying and see if the poi moves accordingly. I have know idea if these targets are accurate in there instructions or not.

They also have left handed targets.

I used some of those targets years ago with a staff member who was having a lot of difficulty qualifying, and told her to use them with a rented (censored) at the local range. She said they helped a lot.
