Beretta mag base pads?
« on: July 13, 2011, 02:23:17 PM »
Ok I read somewhere on here that the Beretta (92fs I believe) magazine rubber base pads fit the CZ mags. But I cant seem to find that info again. So I got some questions for the people that know.

1. What is the exact model I need to look for?
2. Will they fit my Mecgar CZ75B 16rd mags?
3. Where do I buy them? Links?

Thanks Brian

The rubber (there is also a hard plastic one) Beretta 92 ("Beretta Part # C70322, Pad, Magazine, Rubber".) magazine base plate fits my CZ 82 magazine like it was made for it.  I don't know about the CZ 75.

I ordered mine from Beretta and the part number, highlighted above, is verbatim off the bag it came in.

$4 each for 3!  Sweet.

I got the rubber ones--USPSA puts my mags through a lot of abuse.
rubber side down,

I just put mine on my 75b mags today-- They fit absolutely perfectly and look good too.

A really good find, I must say.

Can you take a picture? Is there a gap between the grip and the base?

I will take a picture and post it on here tomorrow. There is absolutely no gap, and I would say the pistol actually looks better with the beretta base pads than with the stock metal base plate.

dlidster, that is the correct part.

Yes, that is the correct part.  I ordered some and installed them on a PCR and a 75B.

The new rubber bases work great on the PCR because the metal base on the 14 round mag hit the middle of my little finger.  The rubber fits my hand much better because the rubber base provides a little longer grip.

On an alternative note, the new bases seem useless for the 16 round magazine in the 75B.  My hand never hit the metal mag base anyway and all I did was make the gun bigger.

Rest assured.  The new bases fit fine in both pistols and only required pushing in the pins to release the original metal bases.  They work fine for their intended purpose.  I only paid $4.00 each (plus shipping) because I bought four of them.  I will also report that the "rubber" bases are a hard rubber, not even as soft as the rubber grips.
