witness p and and steel frame slide compatablity ?

will steel slides from poly frame inter change on the other frame like the 10mm  like to know I seem bewildered also would like to purchase a good 22 conversion , have a 10mm and 40sw witness and it has been flawless for over 1000rds of each appreciate reply thanks  slowgun45

I tried on mine and it didn't work and I had to buy a different slide for my Polymer Frame 10MM.

Right, slides are specific to whether they go on a steel or polymer frame, and generally, you get more conversion options with the steel frame.  Magazines are fully compatible, barrels seem to be compatible too.  Internals are a mix, with the ambi levers for the steel frames not working on the polymer frames.

Although you can order it through the EAA website, it is best to specify what you need on the phone in order for them to get it right.
