SP-01 w/ CZ Customs Slide Racker Sight Base and Burris Fastfire II

After messing around with frame rail sight mounts and the like, I decided to step things up a little bit.  I ordered the CZ Custom's Slide-Racker Sight Base Mount and a Burris Fastfire II optic.  I opted for the Fastfire II over the CMORE STS for price reasons (did this for my Kadet Kit as well) and the good reviews it has received.

The sight base was designed for the STS, so I had to modify it a little with the Dremmel.  The CZ Custom's sight base fit perfectly.  Drifted out the rear sight then drifted the new sight base in and locked it down.  I also had to modify the Fastfire II as the required screws for the sight base were larger than the ones included with the Fastfire II.  A little larger hole and new shorter screws...no problem.

It's quick to sight on target and very accurate.  Besides the CZ Custom's Comp Hammer/Trigger/springs, the best $$ spent.

How is it with finding the dot with your sight sitting that high? I ask because I had a docter sight mounted in a dove tail mount on a 75b. I would bring the gun and I would have trouble finding the dot sometimes. I think the problem I had was the front sight sat so much lower that I didn't have any reference point. Now I guy I know had a optima 2000 on a browning hi power which sat much lower. His sight was much easier to pick up the dot quickly.

Not much of a problem.  Repeatedly able to draw and hit six ten inch plates at 50 feet in around 5 seconds the first day out with it.  It rocks.  As I use it more, I hope to pick up the pace a little.
