My CZ 452 Varmint .22LR is the finest shooting rifle that I have ever owned. Ordered a CZ 455 FS on Monday and expect to have it next week, very anxious to get my hands on it.

At least in my 452s and 453 (I haven't tried a 455 yet):
Old world craftsmanship and quality that most other manufacturers have either abandoned or charge a fortune for.
Accuracy with sporter-profiled barrels that only a handful of much more expensive guns can exceed.
Better reliability and durability than almost all others, including the more expensive brands.
Multiple choices in dimensions, stock design, barrel length and sight options for a variety of shooters and purposes, instead of a one-size-fits-all approach leading to shooters replacing everything but the action as is common with some other brands.
An emphasis on taking rimfires as seriously important to their companies' reputation and bottom line as a dangerous-game rifle or military side arm.

i have 2, and if ever i get bored of them i just switch the stocks around for kicks ???

Sounds just like me and the 455s with the regular Varmint and shorter barrels and the Tacticool and thumb hole stocks. The feel of the actions and the heft of the barrels...truly feels like one is working on marksmanship.

I think it has to do with the 12 grooves rifling in the Supermatch.

I only paid $300 used for a quality .22.

With the Brno target sights i installed after the fact I can actually hit the target. :P
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

I'm a scope guy. Mine is so neat because I shoot it so well with open sights, I don't even want to mount a scope. I considered aftermarket open sights, but I don't believe I'd gain much. My 452 Trainer is awesome.

Fit/finish is pretty good, same for the handgun. It just looks like a good quality rifle and shoots pretty good too. I have the 455 American combo; would like a heavy bbl with a Manners stock, maybe when I sell my garlic?? I usually buy a new garlic gun every August.

I love my Trainer.  Never thought open sights could be so much fun!  Here are a couple of striped gophers, one was 40 yards out.
