Damascus Gun Shop - Website Certification?

Heard a lot about Damascus Gun Shop on this forum. Went to their website and started to do check out deal. Got notification their website certificate not up to date and warning about using as may be fake site or trying to misuse CC info etc.

Have recent purchasers via their website had similar experiences? I like what I have heard and their prices but am concerned. And info appreciated. Thanks.

UPDATE: I contacted them via email and got quick response. Initially said doing work on website and said this may be cause. Then got second email and said found out their certification had expired with no notice from whomever. Said certification issue should be corrected in a short time. Hope they get squared away as prices are good, but I hate to avoid warnings and have my CC info get into wrong hands.

I run a few websites and host some email for companies and have had this issue before.  Nothing like dozens of people calling you because an SSL cert expired with no notification.

OP here. Michael got right back to me and fixed immediately. I placed order this morning for PCR. Best price going and most important is they have PCRs in stock.

The PCR I received is brand spankin new marked 2011, too! Just a forewarning, the magazines don't have the rubber magazine base plates so if you have fat fingers like me, you might want to order those in advance! Good luck to you! You won't be disappointed!

I'm joining the club too!  Ordered from Damascus today, and got one of the last few they had in stock.  Already placed an order for Beretta plastic baseplates since they were outta the rubber version.  Can't wait to get it next week!

I have not received mine yet. But from my email exchange with Michael, he said if I both ordered and got FFL faxed to him this weekend, then he would ship Monday. I expect that since Damascus is in Va and I am in Pa that my FFL dealer should receive by end of the week.

I ordered a Friday night. Monday was Presidents day. They shipped Tuesday. My PCR was in my local shop on Thursday! And that's from VA to TN.

I can't say for the shipping, but can vouch for their customer service. I ordered mine on Thursday night, a week ago, then had them bring it to the LGS and I picked it up on Friday. Most of their prices are among the best I've seen, however, while looking for a Kadet adapter, I found that CZCustom has them for cheaper.

Picked my PCR up Saturday from my FFL. PCR arrived on Thursday after one day delay on part of my FFL guy to fax copy to Damascus. Very pleased with the deal. Great service from Damascus Gun Shop and very good price.
