well i finally made it out to the range today, and all i can say is wow! this pistol is sooo sweet. very consistant at 15-20 yards. i'm no pistoleer, but after getting it dialed in it grouping wasn't that hard. seemed to pull just a little left (target should have been rotated left 90 degrees in pic). very nice pistol, though. 100 rounds of winchester 115gr and 150 rounds of federal champion 115gr and not a single hiccup. no ftf, no jams, no stovepipes- nada. performed beautifully. now i'm ready to go put another 1000 rounds through it!  8)

Dang, that's one mean nasty ragged hole there once you dialed it in! Nothing like some good clean pistol fun to while away a day  :)

Nothing better than being able to see through that one big hole.
You might find this of use:  I've tried several and recommend #100-49 with a 1" red bull and 1" grid.  http://targetz.com/targets04.htm

      Good shooting. If I had to guess, I would say that your shot group indicates that you are right-handed. If that is the case, I suggest that you shoot some more and get used to the trigger, before you make adjustments to the sights.

This is good advice.  I had each arm (one at a time, thank God) in a sling for 6 weeks earlier this year.  When I started shooting again, it was like I had never shot a pistol before.  I left the sights alone because they were perfect before the shoulder surgeries.  First trip to the range after getting out of the sling, I thought, dang, how did those sights move?  Several hundred rounds later, miraculously, the sights fixed themselves, on several pistols no less! 

And I could shoot weak hand as well as strong hand.  But, at first, I pushed the left handed shots low right.  It wasn't the sights, which were dead on when shooting right handed.  Eventually I got to where the sights were perfect again, shooting with either hand.  Imagine that.  A very good education for me and my trigger finger(s).

I coach the range on my job. 8) It' s so funny when "guys" come to me complaining about their sights or weapon. ;D Women mostly have to learn to shoot and build up their hand/arm strength some. :( Guys usually have bad habits to UNLEARN. We went through a tactical firing course and you should have heard everyone complain! "I don't shoot like that, NO one shoots like that, I don't LIKE to shoot like that", to name a few! O0 I can take the same pistol (we all carry Army M9's), shoot and QUALIFY with it any way I'm shown using 50 rounds NO practice. ::) I hear "the sights are off, it shoots right or left, high or low", just to name a few excuses. :-\ Everyone forgets sight alignment, sight picture and trigger control! Also PROPPER lubrication and cleaing of the pistol! I won't even mention problems with left eye shooting right handed or right eye/left hand problems. Funny, when I shoot weak hand (left), it doesn't matter if I use my right eye.  ;) Remeber the basics and as your shoulders get used to shooting again, your groups WILL get better. ;)
