More than comfortable with my Phantom
« on: March 19, 2012, 01:54:48 PM »
I went to the range this weekend with the explicit intent to try a bit of trick shooting. I've always wanted to try splitting a bullet on an ax head and the annie oakley mirror shot. I was using my CZ SP01 Phantom 9mm. I had a blade from a machine at work that would serve as my "ax" and to bring the mirror shot into the modern age I used my iPhone instead of a mirror, which I also used to record the shot. I did manage to split a bullet but it was from about 15 feet away and the target behind the ax was full of holes from previous shots so the pic isn't exactly amazing. What is amazing is the video I got. Keep in mind that this is my first ever attempt at this kind of shot. Im sure luck was on my side, but I'm pretty proud of this. I was shooting at a home made steel plinking target, you can see it swinging at the end. Next time I'll try the split the bullet trick from a longer distance with a couple different guns.

Indeed! I couldn't be happier with my choice. I also ccw a 2075 RAMI which is just as accurate. They impress me every time I go to the range.

Haha, indeed! I already show it to everyone I meet whether they want to see or not... <_<
