Any Canadian P-07 Duty Owners here?
« on: April 16, 2012, 04:19:51 PM »
I purchased my P-07 Duty a couple months back and I am impressed with the reliability and looks of this gun. I am curious though, if there are any Canadian P-07 owners out there who could point me in the right direction for accessories/holsters? Oh, and as a side note, does anyone else have marks near the ejector from brass? And yes, the Canadian version of the P-07 has almost a half inch of barrel protruding from the frame/slide to accommodate restricted barrel length by law........at first I wasn't a fan of the look, but then it grew on me.....lol

Hey buddy.  I was just out shooting my Canadian P07 today.  I love the extra barrel out the front.  I just wish the entire gun was a little longer as I like longer barrels for more velocity and more sight radius.  I have a Tagua holster for mine.  It is the holster for the Springfield XD and fits just great.  I think I ordered it from CanadaAmmo.  This is quickly becoming my favourite 9mm.  I am still trying to get used to the double/single trigger pull as I am used to carrying double action only all the time.

I am on CGN site too.

What's that extended barrel all aboot eh? (sorry that's the only Canadian humor I have)

To answer you question from the original post, yes my P-07 also has brass marks by the ejection port. I figured it was just because of the design. It has such a large swept back port that I figured some brass would end up deflecting off of it. Seems like that was intentional.

There are rumors of a full size DUTY on the horizon for late this year or early next.

Yes it is called the P-09. There are pics of it floating around. I like it and will get one when they become available.

Not just a rumor. CZUB has already produced a prototype of the full size P-09. It should be available late 2012 or early 2013. For more info and pics go to http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=47431.0
